The Head of Digital Sales in Renewables is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing digital sales strategies within the renewable energy sector. This role requires a deep understanding of both digital sales practices and the unique dynamics of the renewable energy market. The Head of Digital Sales will play a crucial role in expanding the organization's digital presence, driving revenue growth, and contributing to the transition toward sustainable energy solutions. The location for the position could be any of the TESLA Group office locations, such as Romania, Slovakia, Netherlands, Czech, and Spain.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to
  • Digital Sales Strategy for Storage Products and Solutions: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital sales strategy, taking into consideration the complexities of renewable projects and the evolving energy landscape.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of digital sales professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure the team achieves sales targets and objectives.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough continuous market research and competitive analysis to identify clients, trends, and opportunities in the renewable energy and energy storage market.
  • Digital Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to align digital sales strategies with Group marketing campaigns, leveraging online platforms and content to enhance brand visibility.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, and channel partners, to build efficient and performing sales operations, understanding their needs and tailoring digital solutions to address their requirements.
  • Technology Utilization: Evaluate and implement digital tools, build sales platforms, and technologies that streamline the sales process, enhance customer engagement, and drive conversion rates.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to generate insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and performance metrics, using these insights to refine strategies and approaches.
  • Collaboration with Technical Teams: Partner with technical and engineering teams to ensure a deep understanding of renewable energy products and services, enabling effective communication with clients.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital sales, regularly evaluating progress and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the renewable energy field, positioning the organization as a thought leader in the digital sales space.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the digital sales budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve sales goals and ROI targets.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to senior management, presenting sales performance data, insights, and recommendations for strategy refinement.
Qualification & requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Significant experience in digital sales roles within the technology industry or related sectors, a minimum of 10 years, and having a track record of successfully developing and operating digital sales and distribution business.
  • In-depth knowledge of disruptive technologies impacting also renewable energy sector, market dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams.
  • Proficiency in using digital sales tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute innovative digital sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented attitude with a history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and policy developments within the renewable energy sector.
  • Passion for sustainability and driving the adoption of renewable energy solutions.
  • English fluent spoken and written
  • SAP HANA4 and MS Office
  • High level of Team management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an international environment is a plus

The Head of Digital sales will report directly to the CEO and will be part of the TESLA Group leadership team.
